If you have ANY

As with any advertising, the goal is to get more business in the future, we hope that advertising your business on our site help you. We have found that about 500 - 1,000 people a week are going to our Great Links sections & Breeders Listings to find more people and information. Obviously, those people that have actual web sites linked on our site will tend to get more people traveling to their site.
As more people sign up, we will have to eventually change the looks of the Breeder pages - to maintain a reasonable load speed. However, at this point it should load pretty quickly and without problem. If there are ANY mistakes in the listing, email us with the corrections and we will have them fixed. Be sure to send in your COMPANY NAME when referring to any mistakes or changes to YOUR information.
If you don't have a web site yet, and/OR you want to get MORE information about your birds, company, business ethics, references, etc. on the net for people to see - we can do that for you at a reasonable price.
If you
gather the written information together, and scan any photos and/or supply the text &
digital graphics you want to use, the charge would be $25 minimum setup fee
and $25 per YEAR
per web page for hosting a "normal" bird site (changes to the page(s)
may have some charge applied - which we will quote BEFORE the bill is incurred).
Additional charges will depend on how often you want changes made - the number of changes
- and how busy we are. A maximum of 6 photos (no larger than 640x480) may be included (in
digital jpg format) at the above price. We will create the thumbnails & links to
the full images for you. This helps keep the pages loading quickly - and gives the
end-user the optimum viewing experience - and a desire to stick around and view your site
(rather than clicking somewhere else).
We have been developing web pages since 1993, and working with computers (hardware & software) since 1974... technical support reduction and attention getting marketing since 1986. We deal with many issues the average web developer is still learning - browser compatibility, loading speed, different screen resolutions, text flow, quality graphics, and key point highlighting.
If we do the scans of photos for you the price is $5.00 per scan & conversion for both internet usage and print (a floppy disk would be sent back to you with your images), with a $25.00 minimum charge.
If you have videos of your birds or aviary we can do frame captures from the video tape. The charge for video conversion depends on length of tape - what exactly you are wanting, and how much time it takes us... the price range is $100 to $5,000 per VHS & VHS-C tape - with $300 to 1,000 being the average for frame captures. You can take pictures of your entire aviary, and with a descent camera expect to receive & use 1 to 4 of the best photos of each of your birds. The actual price is quoted (by us) and agreed on (by you) BEFORE any charge is incurred.
FYI: It takes about 10-20 minutes of time per 1 minute of video for a quality conversion.
Note: If you ever saw one of our company (PBG) brochures from 1997 through 1999 - all the photos there were from our JVC macro/28x zoom - VHS-C camcorder - captured with a special computer based video editing system by Miro (for full screen 1:1 captures at 640x480 16.7 million colors, edited using Adobe Premira, Photoshop, and Corel, and then printed on coated 3M Ink Jet paper stock, with an HP890C Pro Ink Jet (or an 895 or 1120), from a custom layout in MS Publisher v3 or Quark Xpress v4.02. We have found that our brochures helped us not only sell our babies easier... but allowed us to educate prospective buyers as to why we are different from most of the other breeders in the area in a quality - tasteful style. Bottom line, we never had a weaned bird in our possession that we wanted to sell. Selling breeders, with both paper & digital photos also helped us a great deal. Remember, not everyone has a computer - especially at bird shows!
