Our Mission:
To provide a single site that is easy to use and offers tips, links and information to the novice as well the experienced bird keeper for as inexpensive as we can... in most cases FREE. We hope that this site is different than any other web site related to pet birds you have ever seen. Your comments, suggestions, advice, and assistance is generally appreciated and considered.
Free Classified Ads:
Don't waste your time wading through classifieds anymore! I came home from work one night and sat around for nearly two hours while my wife tried to find an ad (on another popular web site) for a bird she wanted. Searching through massive garbage, she finally gave up looking that night. That site was nearly impossible for a beginner to find something a second time. Therefore, we made some assumptions when designing Pretty Birds - which we hope are true:
 | most people are looking for a specific "type" of bird; or |
| want to BUY, or SELL, or TRADE - not all three at the same time; |
| people don't want to waste time by choice; |
| power searching through wanted information is important; |
| saving the Buyer time finding wanted information is very important; |
| seller's should spend a little more time to save the buyer time. |
We have broke down the classifieds into a FEW of the primary species specific listing areas, each with its own complete searching capabilities! For instance, if you want a Blue and Gold Macaw, you would go to the Macaw section and search on "Blue and Gold" or "B & G". You can also search on a specific dollar amount, a breeder's name, etc. under each of the specific sections. We want to have this site's classified sections become the easiest and most powerfully interactive site for anyone wanting to buy, sell, or trade birds.
