Web Changes
This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've
visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first - if you are
interested in things other than the classified ads. Classified Ads & Breeder Lists
change on a daily basis and through out the day... those changes will NOT be listed here.

January 2005 |
Cleaned up the old classifieds
and files. It will offer a quick and generic fix for the time being.
Will be working on a new classified section. Be patient... hopefully
it will be better in the future. |

| 3 March 2001 |
Cleaned up the unused, unlinked classifieds
and files, and added a more generic BUY, SELL, TRADE section - which
should reduce a number of the problems. It is not what we want, but
will offer a quick and generic fix for the time being. |
| 1 March 2001 |
We are getting over 10,000 hits per day! So
some type of fixes MUST be put in place. They will be done in the
next few days. |
| February 2001 |
Removed some of the less popular sub-webs (at
Microsoft Tech's recommendation). They weren't working correctly,
and we couldn't figure out what was wrong... all of the code was
100% perfect, and all the new server extensions were installed, etc.
There was not an easy fix... so those sections were removed. |
| January 2001 |
Microsoft doesn't have a clue, and states that
none of the sections should be working. More than 3 sub-webs is
supposedly impossible... we had nearly 40! Maybe that's the
problem... we are working on it STILL! |

| December 2000 |
Still having problems with the corrupted
areas. Working on a fix. |
| November 2000 |
New hard drives installed on server... most
all of the site is back up, some sections were corrupted - working
on those, have calls into Microsoft to solve the problem. |
| October 2000 |
Hard Drive on Server filled up - too many
classifieds & so forth, working on fix (much larger drives) |
| 24 April 2000 |
Created a For Sale or Trade for New
& Used Bird Related Items Classified Section. |
| 4 April 2000 |
Added Buy/Sell and Breeder Loan
Agreements , at the request of some of our breeders. |
| 22 March 2000 |
Opened up the breeder list to Canada
and Europe... and other countries. If there is enough of a reason and interest, I will
setup a separate section for these other areas. We will see how it goes. There are some
incredible resources, experience, and aviaries in western Europe. |
| 18 March 2000 |
MD's Choice, one of our sponsors, has
agreed to give the breeders listed on this site a 15% discount on the nutritional
supplements (human & equine, and canine) they have in stock at the time of the order.
YOU MUST MENTION THIS DISCOUNT! Awesome products for Total Joint Health - vitamins and minerals! Regular users of
this site get a 10% discount. Check out www.mdschoice.com if
you care about your health. |
| 18 March 2000 |
Brought the "Business Math for
Breeders" to the home page, by request from users. |
| 17 March 2000 |
Sent Email to Breeders (in our list)
to notify them of the changes, and to request suggestions and assistance in making this
site a much better site. |
| 13 March 2000 |
MD's Choice offers prettybirds users a
10% discount on their nutritional supplements. The offer is limited to the products they
have in stock at the time of the order, and not to be used in conjunction with any other
offers for their products. |
| 10 March 2000 |
Added a BREEDERS BY STATE, BY COMPANY
NAME page... making it easier to find breeders close to where you live. |
| 1 Feb 2000 |
Added a Guest Book |

| 16 Dec 1999 |
Free Classified Sections were Reset,
due to a server glitch during the upload. In the future we will drop the site for a couple
hours (early in the morning) so people aren't trying to submit new ads while we are trying
to administrate the cleanup. Sorry, it wasn't on purpose or expected. |
| 15 Dec 1999 |
Added the hit information, current date
& time to front page, as well as a brief paragraph about both of the companies that
make this site possible (please check them out - to help justify their expenditure of time
& money). |
| 15 Dec 1999 |
Site is averaging 5,000 hits per day,
and will top 2 MILLION hits before the end of the year! |
| Nov 1999 |
ISP (where the site is hosted) was down for
about 24 hours because of a SPAMMER... the longest down time in over 6 years. |
| June 1999 |
Someone tried to hack the site, and screwed
up all of the classified sections. Rather than spend a great deal of time fixing the
problems, we tracked the person down, and reset the ad sections. Site was down for about
36 hours. |
| February 1999 |
Terry left for Tennessee on a consulting job
that was suppose to last for 4 to 6 weeks. Five months later the Family arrived (as of
April 2000 our breeding pairs are still in Oregon)... so we will be here for awhile. Life
is a lot different here, but the family likes it. |

| September 1998 |
Terry walked away from CD ROM
publishing company spent 8 years of his life helping to build. Tired of the games, lack of
morals & sound business ethics, and (X)-partner's greed (once we became successful).
No amount of money is worth neglecting your family! |
| 20 June 1998 |
Made site 640x480 compatible (800x600,
1024x768, and 1280x1024 all work great) - the Great Links section is the ONLY known area
that requires horizontal scrolling in the low resolution. |
